Wind chimes are not usually my thing, however when we lost our dog Zoe our home and backyard seemed much too quiet. I wanted a special reminder of my beloved girl. I hung the chimes high on a tree branch to keep the sound a bit softer for my seemingly sensitive ears. Perfect spot for them! It softens the tone and is a great spot because they are pretty long. The other day while working in my yard I suddenly heard them chiming softly and when I looked up at them there was a cardinal on the fence looking at me! What a special moment! I also love the fact that a tree was planted in my Zoe girl's honor. Very special touch!
